Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in statistics from the University of New Mexico. He participated in its National Security Studies Program and also studied the relationship between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian state. He is now a Ph.D. student in statistics at North Carolina State University, where he has conducted research for the Consortium for Nonproliferation Enabling Capabilities (CNEC), which focuses on developing new technologies for addressing nonproliferation challenges. He has also worked with the Laboratory for Analytic Sciences (LAS), helping to build analytic tools for the intelligence community.
