Alexei (Frank) Hoffman is a second-year Master of Asian Studies candidate at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, with concentrations in International Political Economy and Energy, Environment, and Transnational Issues, and is pursuing the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy's certificate in Diplomatic Studies. He is a Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) 2026 Rising Expert in Energy and Geoeconomics, and additionally holds a J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law. His research examines energy infrastructure, resource governance, and security constraints across the post-Soviet space.
