Insider threat is a shared problem across a variety of enterprises, including life sciences, nuclear, and cyber. After exploring fundamental concepts related to insider threats, Ronald Schouten, M.D., J.D., will describe commonly observed characteristics of those threats, as well as differences among them, in various realms. He also will discuss the increasing threats posed by extremism across the political spectrum.

Dr. Schouten is Director of the Law & Psychiatry Service of the Massachusetts General Hospital and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
