A Year on from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the war continues to be waged around Ukraine’s numerous nuclear facilities, including Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, Zaporizhzhia. Please join the CSIS Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI) on 3/14 at 3:00 PM EST for a discussion with IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi on the critical efforts the IAEA has undertaken to ensure the safety and security of nuclear facilities in Ukraine. DG Grossi has served as Director General of the IAEA since 2019 and was previously president of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) from 2014 to 2016. This event will be moderated by CSIS PONI director Dr. Heather Williams and will feature a keynote address from DG Grossi followed by audience Q & A.
