The Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies is pleased to host a discussion with Col Dennis Bythewood, USAF, program executive officer for space development at the Space and Missile Systems Center, on August 9, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Capitol Hill Club.

In his current position, Bythewood is responsible for establishing and exploiting opportunities for continuous, iterative, and innovative space capability improvements through rapid prototyping, experiment, demonstration, and technology maturation for 25 programs valued in excess of $11 billion annually. He drives overarching and cross-cutting systems engineering approaches and leads acquisition strategy decisions to support warfighter operations.
