Save the Date! Joint Training and Education Academic Workshop (JTEAW) hosted by NORAD and USNORTHCOM J7 Dates: Tuesday-Thursday, 18-20 June 2019 Location: Peterson AFB, CO (Colorado Springs) The JTEAW is a vital enabler for NORAD and USNORTHCOM to build the partnerships necessary to address future challenges. This event serves to improve the overall homeland defense and homeland security knowledge base, thereby making a lasting contribution to the safety and security of our nation. The JTEAW provides the Military Education Coordination Council (MECC) Working Group, North American Defense and Security Academic Alliance (NADSAA) members, and other academic institution representatives with updates on the commands’ mission areas in order to ensure military and civilian institution academic programs remain relevant and current. NORAD and USNORTHCOM subject matter experts will lead discussions with senior faculty members from several military and civilian colleges and universities. The insight gained from this event will provide faculty members with the necessary knowledge to update their curricula or degree programs.
