Join us for a live, online launch event releasing the results of the 2020 NTI Nuclear Security Index. Featuring NTI Co-Chair and CEO Ernest J. Moniz, the event will reveal where progress has been made and where the world is still falling short. The NTI Nuclear Security Index is recognized globally as the premiere resource for tracking nuclear security progress. The NTI Index assesses the security of some of the deadliest materials in the world—highly enriched uranium and plutonium—against theft and the security of nuclear facilities against sabotage. For the first time, the 2020 NTI Index is accompanied by a separate Radioactive Source Security Assessment that assesses national policies, commitments, and actions to secure radioactive sources and prevent a dirty bomb.
