Job Summary: Analyst to work in the Director’s Action Group, Cooperative Threat Reduction, DTRA

Responsibilities and Duties: Work as part of a 3-person team supporting the CTR front office on a variety of issues. Helps set priorities for leadership. Analyzes issues and assesses how best to address. Backstops other members of the team to ensure deadlines are met. Provide quality assurance. Writes reports, memos, briefings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Some experience working with the DoD or USG (internships apply)
  • Solid writing and communication skills
  • Proven proof-reading skills
  • Able to take an idea, gather information, and write it up for senior leadership
  • Ability to facilitate across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to assess actions and determine how and who is best to address
  • Comfort with fast-paced, senior-level clients
  • Ability to work seamlessly in a small team
  • Fast learner with good problem solving skills
  • Understanding of DoD processes and procedures
  • Understanding of CWMD issues and major players is desired, but not required
  • Adept at using OFFICE, including PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
  • SECRET clearance (preferred)
